As an integral part of this key initiative for MediaTek, Jack and Labs team work with developers and makers worldwide to ensure they have all the necessary tools, resources and support to build cutting-edge IoT and wearable devices and services on topof MediaTek’s LinkIt platform. This work helps to support a program that has already seen three major milestones since its launch just six months ago: the launch of the LinkIt Connect 7681 development platform, the addition of MediaTek Labs Cloud Sandbox and the Labs Partner Connect program. Jack has more than ten years experience in multimedia software and hardware development and integration. Prior to joining MediaTek, Jack was working at PayPros which is a payment processing company as Product Manager. PayPros was eventually acquired by Global Payment in January, 2014. Jack worked at Optoma Technology managing multiple B2B projector projects each worth between $5M to $10M. Jack had the opportunity to work for AVerMedia Technolgy with whom he formed a team in UK to market Western Europe before he was relocated to BayArea to lead a team for the Security Surveillance Division. The growth of the division in USA was over 100% in the next 2 years. Jack has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from National Taiwan University. Jack is married with a daughter and is a passion supporter of BayArea sport teams.
