He also completed the FDIC School for Examiners in Washington, D.C.Faubion is active in various civic and professional activities, including the following:• A longstanding volunteer commitment to United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors 2010 – 2011. Board Member since 2003.• Member, Dallas Citizens Council 2010 - 2011• Director, Dallas Summer Musicals 2008 - 2011
