University of Toronto University of Toronto
Established in 1827, the University of Toronto has one of the strongest research and teaching faculties in North America, presenting top students at all levels with an intellectual environment unmatched in depth and breadth on any other Canadian campus. The University of Toronto is committed to being an internationally significant researchuniversity, with undergraduate, graduate and professional programs of excellent quality. The University of Toronto is dedicated to fostering an academic community in which the learning and scholarship of every member may flourish, with vigilant protection for individual human rights, and a resolute commitment to the principles of equal opportunity, equity and justice.Within the unique university context, the most crucial of all human rights are the rights of freedom of speech, academic freedom, and freedom of research. And we affirm that these rights are meaningless unless they entail the right to raise deeply disturbing questions and provocative challenges to the cherished beliefs of society at large and of the university itself. It is this human right to radical, critical teaching and research with which the University has a duty above all to be concerned; for there is no one else, no other institution and no other office, in our modern liberal democracy, which is the custodian of this most precious and vulnerable right of the liberated human spirit. $300K / Grant / Apr 08, 2024

Sheridan College Sheridan College
Four-year students who started at Sheridan College often find that they have a leg up on other students, but that’s not the only reason to attend Sheridan. Located in Sheridan, Wyoming and part of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, Sheridan College offers associate’s degrees for those who wish to transfer as well as those who areseeking a solid career. Sheridan offers more than 45 different programs of study, which include Agriculture, Biotechnology, Criminal Justice, Dental Hygiene, Education, English, History, Horticulture, Nursing and Social Science. However, Sheridan’s offerings don’t end there. Sheridan also works in conjunction with several universities to offer more advanced degrees, including graduate degrees. At Sheridan, students have the option to live on campus in residence halls. Those who do choose to live on campus can take better advantage of such student life offerings as Sheridan’s academic, recreational and cultural student organizations and athletic teams. Tuition at Sheridan is substantially reduced for students who reside in Wyoming or other western states such as California, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. Financial aid is available to eligible students in need. There are certain specific requirements for admission to some programs such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene and Massage Therapy.
