In the twenty+ years he has been with that firm he has worked in London, New York and Edinburgh specialising first in financial services and latterly in energy. He has been a partner for 13 years and is currently the ManagingPartner for Scotland, prior to this he was Head of Energy for EMEIA. His wide ranging experience ranges from large multinationals to small company start ups, from financial control to corporate finance support.Hywel married into a Borders farming family and has his family home in the Borders. He is committed to ensuring that the experience he has of the broader business community, and in particular of energy related opportunities, is available to TRI Capital and the companies its members invest in.
