Hubert Verbeek is a private equity investor at Holland Capital in Amsterdam focused on Consulting and Risk Management. Voor zijn studie bedrijfseconomie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, was Hubert als scholier reeds ondernemer en richtte een succesvolle drive-in show op die hij vervolgens goed verkocht. Na zijn studie was hij werkzaam bij Ernst & Young accountants, waar hij de financiële aspecten van een onderneming in detail leerde kennen. Vervolgens was hijvan 2000 tot 2006 bij Holland Venture werkzaam als analist en investment manager. Hij leidde hier zowel nationaal als internationaal diverse transacties. Medio 2006 maakte hij de overstap naar de Rabobank, waar hij zijn kennis verbreedde als senior director Rabo Private Equity. Begin 2009 kwam voor hem de mogelijkheid om managing partner te worden van Holland Venture in zicht. In 2011 heeft hij zijn Master in Financieel Recht aan de Erasmus Universiteit afgerond.Hubert: “Ik heb altijd de wens gehad om als zelfstandig ondernemer te werken.
