Henry was elected Chief Executive Officer of Society National Bank in 1993 and was elected its Chairman of the Board of Directors in 1994. Henry was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Banking Officer of Society Corporation in 1991. Henry was elected Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer of the new KeyCorp in 1994 and was elected its Chief Operating Officer in May 1995. Henry was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at KeyCorp in September 1996, President in May 1997 and Chief Executive Officer in February 2001. Henry was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors at KeyCorp in May 2001. Henry received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Econometrics from Colgate University in 1972 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University in 1978. Active in civic and cultural life, Henry serves on several boards in the greater Cleveland area. Henry serves as a Trustee of the Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc., Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education and ideastream (WVIZ/PBS and WCPN). Henry is a Board Member and immediate past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of United Way of Greater Cleveland and is a Board Member and immediate past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of University School. Meyer is Chairman of the Board of the Greater Cleveland Partnership and is a Board Member of University Hospitals Health System, Inc., as well as pastChairman of the Board of Directors of both University Hospitals Health System, Inc. andUniversity Hospitals of Cleveland. Henry is an immediate past Member of the Board of Directors at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and currently serves on the Federal Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve System. Henry serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Continental Airlines, Inc. Henry and his wife Jane have three sons.
