He is the chief editor of the textbook Expedition and Wilderness Medicine, and has been a medical consultant for the United States Secret Service. He was the personal physician to former President Bill Clinton during Clinton’s tour of Africa in September 2002, and served in Uganda and Senegal on the advance team of President George W. Bush when the President visited the African continent in July of 2003.Bledsoe also serves as an operating partner for the venture capital firm New Road Capital Partners, and is an executive MBA candidate in the MIT Sloan School of Management.
