Since 2007, Mr. Singer has been a member of Elliott Management Corporation’s Management Committee, involved in corporate governance and management decisions. Mr. Singer is additionally a member of Elliott’s Risk, Valuation, and Compliance Committee, as well as the Operational Risk Committee.Prior to joining Elliott Advisors and subsequently becoming the head of its UK operations, Mr. Singer worked at the Investment Banking Analyst Program operated by Lehman Brothers. His entry into the investment banking sphere was preceded by his graduation from Williams College, having spent his junior year studying abroad at Exeter College, Oxford University. Prior to Williams College, Mr. Singer attended Tenafly High School, a Public High School in Tenafly, New Jersey where he co-captained the men’s soccer team in his senior year. Mr. Singer also attended middle school in Tenafly and prior to that he attended Smith School, an elementary school located in Tenafly. Mr. Singer is Founder of Restore the Music UK, a UK registered charity that seeks to reinstate access to music for every child in primary and secondary schools across London. The charity offers £10,000-£20,000 grants to schools for the purchase of musical instruments and tuition, thereby re-establishing music as a birthright for every child, rather than an option for the privileged few. Mr. Singer’s passion for music education emanated from the music provision that he experienced at the state schools in suburban New Jersey where he was educated. Mr. Singer continues to play and perform publicly today. Mr. Singer plays the acoustic and electric guitars as his primary instruments. He is also proficient at the electric bass guitar and the double bass. Additionally, he plays a variety of drum instruments, including the drum set and the electronic drums. Mr. Singer has also been a Trustee for VH1 Save the Music since circa 2005.
