George subsequently worked for Barclays Capital (1997-2000), Bank of America (2000-2003) and The Royal Bank of Scotland (2003-2011). Over the bulk of this period, he specialised in the origination, structuring and execution of European leveraged debt transactions in a lead capacity. George has also held positions in leveraged loan syndications and in corporate restructuring.George holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College (University of London), a BSc (Hons) degree in Financial Services from UMIST and a MSc degree in Operational Research from Strathclyde University.
