George spent over 12 years with Fisher Scientific, where he held the positions of Vice-President, Finance and Administration and, subsequently, President of the Canadian division as well as several international business units. In this role, he provided business leadership to over 600 staff in Canada and abroad, developed strategies for growth and profitability, and managed all aspects of the company, including the Marketing, Sales, Operations and Administration divisions.George holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with an Accounting and Finance major from Carleton University. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
