His Masters’ thesis was in cardiovascular fluid mechanics of stented arteries. Fernando is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and German. Fernando is a Brazilian and Portuguese citizen and has lived in Brazil, Portugal, the UK and, for the past 8 years, Switzerland. He is married and enjoys spending time with his wife, running, playing basketball and tennis and practicing Nordic and downhill skiing.
