He managed the Geneva office forMcKinsey from 1988 to 2004, and consulted for companies in thepharmaceutical, consumer and finance sectors. He led McKinsey’sEuropean pharmaceutical practice and served as a member of thefirm’s partner review committee prior to his retirement in 2007. Asan independent consultant, Vanni has continued to supportleaders of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on corestrategic challenges facing the healthcare industry.
