She started her career in finance in private equity and investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Emily currently serves as an independent director on the board of Justworks, Inc. Previously, she spent over 5 years as an independent board director at Barnes & Noble Education (NYSE: BNED), and 6 years on the Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, and Board of Governors at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Based in San Francisco, Emily is a graduate of The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
