Egg Forward is a VC fund in Minato focused on SaaS and AgTech. We aspire to generate and disseminate value in collaboration with fellow “comrades” who share this philosophy.(1) Capital Participation through Investment In conventional consulting support, it was challenging to get involved with startups that have limited investment capacity, making it arduous to support them in achieving sustainable, medium- to long-term corporate growth. Therefore, we take the initiative to invest in and offer consulting assistance to startups committed to addressing societal challenges, with the objective of enhancing their value over the medium to long term.(2) Strategic and Organizational Transformation Support As professionals in corporate transformation support, EggFORWARD has been deeply engaged in assisting the transformation and expansion of numerous leading unicorn companies as well as major Japanese corporations. From our extensive experience, we have found that startups frequently encounter challenges related to the misalignment between their mission, vision, and values (MVV), business strategy, and organizational and human resource strategy as they progress in their growth journey. In response, we are implementing a “Purpose Management / MVV Management” system designed to provide consistent support for addressing these issues.(3) Professional Network In addition to EggFORWARD’s vast experience in supporting startups, we are committed to facilitating connections with professionals and advisors across diverse fields as necessary to bolster the growth of startups from multifaceted angles. Furthermore, we aim to foster horizontal connections, encourage knowledge sharing, and promote co-creation opportunities among startups that are part of our ecosystem.(4) Offering a Community Space Around Connections We created an incubation space where individuals and organizations can come together to forge new opportunities for innovation and transformative growth located at Shibuya. Located just a few minutes walk from the station, we are leveraging the unique characteristics of this area to build a community space where value is created together with like-minded “friends” who share the same philosophy.
