From 1984 to 1987, she worked for CIGNA Investments in Hartford, where she managed real estate portfolios in the southeastern United States. From 1978 to 1984, she was with International Paper Company in New York, where she served as manager of trust investments and oversaw the company’s pension and employee benefit funds.Donna Dean began her career in the national lending division at the Charlotte headquarters of what is now Bank of America. She also serves on the board of trustees and chairs the investment committee of Queens University of Charlotte. She also is a member of the pension advisory committee of the New York Stock Exchange.Donna Dean received a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
