He started his career in early-1990 with the Big Four.Aarin is a proprietary fund co-founded by Dr Ranjan Pai (Manipal Education & Medical Group), and Mohandas Pai (Chief Advisor to the Manipal Group, Board Member, also formerly of Infosys). Deepak set up the fund and has been with it since. Additionally, Aarin has anchored funds in IT, both early stage and venture capital, Digital Media and Financial Services, the confluence of mobile and consumer, in derivatives and also late stage and listed equities.Deepak is an honours Commerce graduate from Delhi University and is a Chartered Accountant (1989). He is keen on science fiction, plays golf and does yoga. Deepak also invests in his own capacity and works closely with founders helping them build their businesses.
