David Court is a Director (Senior Partner) in McKinsey & Company’s Dallas office. He is the Firm’s Global Director of Technology, Digitization and Communications, and is currently leading the ‘Digitizing Our Firm’ initiative to reimagine major client and people processes from a digital-first mindset. David founded and led McKinsey’s globalpractice in harnessing dig data and advanced analytics from 2011 to 2015, and was a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and its Global Operating Committee. He also led all of McKinsey’s global functional practices and prior to that led the Sales and Marketing practice globally.In addition, David was also the Managing Director of the Dallas office and a leader of McKinsey’s Retail and Consumer practices. He serves clients across a variety of consumer-oriented businesses, including retail, airlines, packaged goods and consumer electronics. David is a board member of Canadian Tire, the analytics firm Clickfox and National Geographic Ventures. He is a member of the National Geographic International Council of Advisors and the Advisory Board for both the Queen’s University Business School and its Analytics Program.David has been an active author on marketing, strategy and advanced analytics including in both the Harvard Business Review and the McKinsey Quarterly. David joined McKinsey in 1983 and was elected a Principal in 1989 and a Director in 1994.
