Our mission was to bring 2nd hand trade to LATAM, ASIA, Africa/ME and Russia/EEU. Both the scale and the positive impact on people and planet were super cool and gave a lot of positive energy. Held various positions within OLX (all part of global MT). Launched 20+ new markets. Managed mature businesses (1000+ FTE, $100m+) and super various early stage start-ups. Made a lot of mistakes and did a few things right. Most proud of the teams I’ve build in LATAM, Africa, Europe and Middle East (and especially the fun we had!).After 6 years of OLX I took a sabbatical that I used to become super fit physically, mentally and spiritually. Also really enjoyed being a full time house dad. Now I selectively spend my time on helping cool projects and awesome people. Started career at eBay/ Marktplaats.nl.
