Animation’s kids business, expansion of international local production and the evolution of linear and on-demand TV distribution windows. He is on the board of The CW network, playing an active role in setting its linear and digital distribution strategies. Hunegs is also the lead deal maker for all Television Group production divisions. He was promoted to his WBTVG President role in May 2013.In his role as President, Warner Bros. Digital Networks, Hunegs is charged with guiding and growing the company’s owned OTT activities, including DramaFever and Warner Archive, an SVOD service offering classic Warner Bros. titles. Under Hunegs’ leadership, WBDN has the mandate to expand Warner Bros.’ OTT footprint by launching new offerings, growing current company-owned services and making strategic alliances. WBDN works closely with Time Warner divisions Turner and HBO as part of Time Warner’s overall strategy to reach audiences directly through currently owned OTT services as well as those to be launched in the future. The division manages the company’s wholly owned gamer network Machinima; it also manages Warner Bros.’ investments in Uninterrupted, the partnership with LeBron James and Maverick Carter and in Ellen Digital Ventures, a partnership with Ellen DeGeneres. Hunegs assumed his WBDN responsibilities in June 2016.
