Coastal Enterprises is a community development financial institution that provides financing to micro, small and medium enterprises, affordable housing, and community facilities in order to create income, employment, and ownership opportunities for low-income people and communities. Since its inception, CEI has provided $958 million in capital to2,251 projects that created/retained 27,181jobs and created 1,483 units of affordable housing. CEI funds have leveraged an additional $2.44 billion in other capital.
