He acted as Chairman of various in-house investment funds prior to and following the latter's integration with Allianz Private Equity. He had joined Kleinwort Benson Limited in 1979 and worked in London, Los Angeles and New York before taking a group-wide role. Mr Wright was subsequently Acting Global Head of Private Equity and Infrastructure investing at Standard Bank of South Africa (Johannesburg/London).
