Christian Waldvogel is a startup investor at VINCI CAPITAL. Prior to founding Vinci Capital, Dr Waldvogel was a Partner with Viventures in Paris. He has also been an Investment Director with Intel Capital as part of the “founding” team of Intel Capital Europe.Dr Waldvogel has been actively investing in Europe with a focus on France, Germany and Switzerland. His technical expertise is focused on thetelecom, security, broadcasting and semi-conductor industries. Dr Waldvogel has also occupied management positions in business development and strategic marketing at Intel Corporation in Munich and at the European Telecommunications Satellite Organization (EUTELSAT) in Paris.Dr Waldvogel holds a Ph.D. in Cryptography and a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich. He also holds a Bachelor of Science and Engineering from Princeton University (US) and a Corporate Finance Seminar Certificate from INSEAD (Paris).
