He has also advised institutional and start-up funds, growth companies and new ventures on investment and business strategy as well as fund raising, and served on the boards of several China-based companies and advisory committees of leading PE funds.Wai Chiew’s public sector experience was with Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) where he held various positions in strategic planning, industry development, and international operations, and his not-for-profit experience was with World Economic Forum based in Geneva, undertaking India and China research and scenario planning projects.Wai Chiew was awarded the Glaxo-EDB scholarship and holds a BA in Economics from Cambridge University, UK; MA from Yale University, USA; and completed EMBA (conducted in Mandarin) from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business based in China.
