Charline Gauthier is a startup investor at InterWest Partners. She joined Intralase in 2003 as Vice President, Research, Development and Corporate Affairs. Prior to joining Intralase, she had been the Director of Clinical Affairs and Chief Operating Officer at Autonomous Technologies in Orlando FL from 1995 to 2000. Following the acquisition of Autonomous by Summit Technology, she was promoted in 2000 to Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Summit Autonomous, Inc. After Summit Autonomous was acquired by Alcon, Inc. in 2000, Dr Gauthier assumed the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Alcon Orlando Technology Center. Dr Gauthier began her career in the eye care field as an optometrist and spent time in both private practice and research activities in Canada and Australia.
