She currently serves on the board of directors of several organizations, including Northwestern University and the Girl Scouts of the USA. She also serves on the board of trustees of the American Film Institute.Ms. Coughlin is a strong advocate for attracting more women to pursue degrees and careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
