Bruce was senior vice president of worldwide field operations at Chipcom Corporation for 10 years which was acquired by 3Com. At Chipcom, he played a key role in successfully launching three product lines, achieved 28 consecutive record quarters of growth and pioneered a unique channel strategy. Bruce spent the first 15 years of his career in various sales and product management roles at IBM and Datapoint. Bruce has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 1967 and 1966 respectively.
