Brian Koh is a startup investor at NUS Enterprise in Singapore. Brian is the Director of NUS Enterprise (a cluster of the National University of Singapore - NUS). An avid “Eco-system Builder”, Brian has constructed several eco-system platforms that support Innovation and Entrepreneurship.Currently, Brian is developing a synergistic innovation Deep-Tech Hub between the Singapore Science Park and the Universityto promote university technologies/Intellectual property, commercialization, talent and technology companies. He was involved in building up the eco-system supporting the startups and entrepreneurs both on-campus and off-campus establishing the infrastructure, programmes and networks for the eco-system. This includes building up Blk71, which has now become the JTC Launchpad area - an iconic entrepreneurial space in Singapore. He was also responsible for setting up overseas centres in Silicon Valley, US and Suzhou, China.Believing in the need to develop an ASEAN platform, he therefore developed a network of ASEAN partners that provides collaborations with other universities, incubators, accelerators, investors and government agencies. He continues to support startup founders in developing their company.Prior to NUS, Brian together with some friends pioneered Adroit Innovations as a start-up company. Adroit Innovations subsequently grew to become a publicly listed company on the main board of the Singapore Stock Exchange in 2000.
