From October 1988 to February 1997, Dykes served as the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Symantec Corporation. He served as the Chief Executive Officer, President of Systems Group and Chief Financial Officer of Chatham Technologies, Inc. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Adept Technology. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Xebec. He held senior financial management positions for Ford Motor Company. He has been a Director of Hypercom Corp., since August 4, 2011 and ReachLocal Inc. since 2008. He has been a Director of Bitfury USA, Inc. since September 2014. He served as a Director of Flextronics International Ltd. from 1994 to 1997. He served as a Director of NebuAd, Inc. Dykes holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration Degree from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.
