Their portfolio companies are working to develop products to treat health problems including Alzheimer's disease, cancer, obesity, GI disorders, neurological and respiratory illnesses. BioAdvance was established with $33 million from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's share of tobacco settlement monies.
