Benoît Dubois is a startup investor at Eclosion SA. Benoît Dubois trained as an engineer, gained a PhD at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zurich, and also studied at Cambridge and Cranfield. He occupied various management posts with pharmaceutical companies including Chemap, Ciba-Geigy/Novartis and Lonza, before moving to the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, where hefounded the life sciences faculty and became its first dean. He also created BioAlps in 2001 (and has been its chief executive since 2008), Excellgene in 2002, and Eclosion in 2004. He is now a director of Eclosion, and has written a number of books and articles on biotechnology and scientific communication.
