Prior to that, she held marketing-management positions at both Procter & Gamble and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Her entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Spinfrenzy, a "generation-Y" social networking and commerce site; founding Bespoke by Avantika Daing, her successful line of handmade luxury apparel; and operating and designing for a high-fashion boutique in Delhi. Avantika splits her time between Manhattan and Mumbai.
