He has studied abroad on three continents and worked in China for the U.S. State Department’s political section at the Beijing Embassy. Ashwin also ran consulting teams as Project Manager for Innovo Consulting and led investments as a Summer Analyst at First Midwest Group, a diversified real estate developer and investment firm.While at Georgetown, Ashwin was highly engaged with his university’s startup ecosystem as Board and founding member of Georgetown Ventures, the D.C.-area’s first university startup accelerator. He managed 40 staff members as Campus News Editor of The Hoya, Georgetown’s newspaper, organized and led diversity/bystander training while part of the student government cabinet, and worked for The Corp, the nation’s largest student-run nonprofit organization.In his free time, Ashwin loves to travel, try new cuisines, sing and listen to music. He enjoys staying active, is an aspiring alpine climbing, and hopes to summit Aconcagua – the highest mountain in the Southern and Western hemispheres – sometime in the next few years. Ashwin is also a Venture for America Fellow passionate about creating economic opportunity for the next generation of entrepreneurs.I am always looking to meet new people and exchange ideas.
