Before starting his career as an investor, Anand was a part of the core Management Team at Pepperfry and headed up Category Management (P&L). During his stint as Business Head for Home Categories, Anand transformed the business to achieve breakeven at an operational level, while maintaining high levels of customer experience and buyer retention. Prior to this, Anand headed up the Strategy function at Pepperfry, where he worked closely with the founder to raise $170M across 3 rounds of fundraising. Anand started his career in Investment Banking with Lazard and Avendus Capital. Anand holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Narsee Monjee College, University of Mumbai.
