Earlier in her career, Amy held operating roles at Guidant Corporation (acquired by Abbott Vascular) including leading the international launch of the Xience drug eluting stent and managing product lines across the US, Europe and Asia. She began her career as a management consultant for APM/CSC Healthcare, optimizing operations and clinical guidelines for major hospital systems. Amy is a Kauffman Venture Fellow as well as founder and president of MedtechWomen. She holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
