These investments fall within three investment strategies: primary fund investments, secondary investments, and co-investments. As of June 30, 2015, AlpInvest managed over USD 47 billion of client assets on a discretionary basis. AlpInvest provides investment advisory services to pooled investment vehicles sponsored by AlpInvest and customized separately managed accounts, both of which are typically offered only to sophisticated institutional investors, such as government entities, pension funds, insurance companies and large endowments, as well as high net worth individuals and large family offices.
