Enval is currently in the process of commercializing a proprietary pyrolysis technology for value extraction from packaging waste. Alex also worked for six years as an oncology researcher in the biotech industries of Germany and Silicon Valley.Alex was a Gates Scholar at Cambridge, where he completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. There he founded the Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (cutec), organizers of the yearly Technology Ventures Conference. He also holds B.S. (hons.) and M.S. degrees in Biological Sciences from Stanford University in California. He speaks German, English and Italian fluently.
