A iniciativa é da Controladoria-Geral da União (CGU) e do Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU) e, no âmbito estadual, da Controladoria Geral do Estado (CGE).Em 2021, a AgeRio conquistou a certificação GPTW (Great Place to Work).
