She holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was a Sloan Fellow.Ms. Brown currently serves on the board of directors of Harman International Industries, Inc., a publicly traded company with revenues of $4.4B in 2012. She is also on the board of directors of the Pacific Science Center, whose mission is to inspire lifelong interest in science, technology and math, and Jobs for America’s Graduates, the nation’s leading drop-out prevention program. She lives in the Puget Sound area with her husband and daughter. Ms. Brown is recognized for mentoring emerging talent from all walks of life and for developing future leaders.
