He holds a degree in electronics engineering from Tec de Monterrey, Mexico, and an MBA and Public Management degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Abel is married and has two children, young men who keep him on his toes. He enjoys sports like competitive rowing and swimming, loves the outdoors and is a lousy golfer.
